Everyone's Hiding Something
So-called success can be false, fleeting or un-fulfilling
Everyone else around you is hiding a secret.
Yes, they are.
They're all just as scared, anxious or confused
about something in their lives
as you are.
Just because you see someone walking past you
looking pretty dapper in their fancy suit or dress
with an expensive watch on their wrist
and a quasi-smile on their face
doesn't mean it's all fine and dandy at their place.
Being human means
you have opportunities
and problems.
That's just part of the experience.
And yet we tend to imagine that everyone else
has mostly good stuff going on.
They don't.
Real life is a mix of the good, the bad, the pretty and the ugly.
Everyone has that in a mixture that's unique to them right now.
Everyone.
Some have more yay than nay
while others have a lot of nay.
And some just lie in the hay
but only for so long!
So don't think your lot is only a downer
while everyone else's lot is only fantastic.
We all experience both.
More than you know.
